WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING TALLOW BALM?

IS TALLOW BALM SAFE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?
Yes. Our tallow balm is made with carefully selected, minimal ingredients and contains no synthetic fragrances, fillers, or harsh chemicals. Because tallow is so compatible with the skin, it’s often well tolerated by sensitive or easily irritated skin. We always recommend patch testing, especially for very sensitive skin.
CAN I USE TALLOW BALM ON MY FACE?
Yes. Many customers use our tallow balm as a facial moisturizer. A small amount goes a long way. If you’re new to tallow balm, we recommend performing a patch test first.
DOES TALLOW BALM CLOG PORES?
Tallow is considered non-comedogenic for many skin types because it closely mimics the skin’s natural sebum. When used in moderation, it absorbs well and helps balance the skin rather than overwhelm it. As with any skincare product, individual results may vary.
IS YOUR TALLOW BALM GREASY?
A little goes a long way. Tallow balm melts into the skin with warmth and absorbs best when applied to slightly damp skin. When used sparingly, it leaves skin soft and nourished — not greasy.
ARE YOUR TALLOW BALMS SCENTED?
We offer both unscented (Everything Balm) and lightly scented options. Any scent comes only from 100% pure essential oils or herbal infusions. We never use synthetic fragrances or fragrance oils.
CAN TALLOW BALM BE USED ON CHILDREN OR BABIES?
Many families use tallow balm for gentle skin care on children due to its simple ingredient list. However, we recommend choosing our unscented version (Everything Balm) for babies and doing a patch test first for small children when choosing a scent version. Always consult your pediatrician if you have specific concerns.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY TALLOW BALM?
Store your balm in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or sunlight. Because it’s made with natural ingredients, tallow balm may soften in warm temperatures and firm up in cooler ones. This is entirely normal and does not affect quality.
DOES TALLOW BALM EXPIRE?
Our tallow balm has a long shelf life thanks to tallow's natural stability. For best quality, use within the recommended time listed on the jar and keep it stored properly. Always use clean, dry hands when applying, and don’t introduce any water into your balm.
IS YOUR TALLOW BALM HANDMADE?
Yes! Each jar is crafted in small batches with care. Slight variations in texture or color are natural and a sign of a truly handmade product.
