Your candle has been pre-trimmed and is ready to burn. Plan to burn your candle for 3-4 hours each time you burn. Unlike Soy, Coco Apricot Creme candles do not have memory, so a complete melt pool on the first 2 to 3 burns is not necessary. Any wax hangups melt off completely the farther down the candle burns.
Trim the wick:
Before each burn, be sure to break off any burnt pieces of wick from the previous burn. This helps maintain a clean and even burn. If your wick is putting off soot, the wick is still too long. Blow out your candle, let it cool, and try trimming it to 1/4" high and relight.
Keep lit candles away from air vents, drafts, flammable objects, small children, and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not attempt to move or touch the glass while the candle is lit. Stop use when 1/4"-1/2" of wax remains. Failure to do so may cause the glass to crack. Failure to follow these tips could result in fire, injury, or smoke damage.
For Finicky Wicks that won't stay lit:
Cut the wick vertically down the center to the top of the wax before lighting. This helps get more fuel to the wick so it will stay lit.
